Each item is compared to our proprietary benchmark database — built from verified contractor data, permit records, and supplier pricing for your ZIP code.
Benchmarks are updated quarterly. Regional labor rate adjustments are applied automatically. Equipment costs are verified against distributor pricing.

Currently HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) and plumbing quotes. We cover replacements, repairs, new installs, and service calls. More trade categories are coming in 2026.
How accurate are the benchmarks?
Our benchmark database is built from verified local permit data, distributor pricing, and contractor invoices. We achieve 87–93% accuracy vs. independent appraisal in testing. Benchmarks are specific to your ZIP code.
Do you work with the contractors?
No. ZunoQuote has zero commercial relationships with contractors. We earn revenue only from homeowners paying for analysis reports — no referral fees, no contractor partnerships, no advertising.
How long does an analysis take?
Most reports are ready in under 2 minutes. Complex multi-page quotes may take up to 5 minutes.
What if my quote is handwritten or poorly formatted?
Our OCR handles most handwritten estimates. If the upload quality is too low, we'll ask you to re-upload or enter key items manually. You're never charged for a failed extraction.
Is my data private?
